In the end, the driver is ultimately responsible, as beta software can be unpredictable. Even my Audi, equipped with Level 3 certified lane assist, isn’t completely reliable. On the other hand, Tesla hasn’t even pursued certification for its basic lane assist features on highways. Essentially, it’s still a work in progress — a beta version.
