I think you're missing the point. FSD will also get into accidents, but significantly fewer than humans do. The aim of FSD technology is to reduce the overall number of accidents, injuries, and fatalities on the road. While it's true that, at scale, accidents will still occur, the key difference is in the frequency and severity of these incidents. The statistical likelihood of accidents with FSD is much lower compared to human drivers, which ultimately enhances road safety. Just like human drivers, FSD systems will continuously improve, learning from every incident to further minimize risks over time.

Moreover, unlike human drivers who might become more careless and reckless as they get older or more experienced, FSD systems will not. Every new generation of young drivers faces a learning curve, often leading to higher accident rates due to inexperience. Humans primarily learn from their own experiences, but FSD leverages the collective experience of the entire fleet, which is a significant difference in enhancing road safety.
