From Chattering Teeth to Relaxation: My Journey with Cold Morning Showers and Warm Nighttime Showers

Oh boy, let me tell you about my recent experiment with cold showers in the morning and warm showers before bedtime. As a person who always prefers hot water to cold, this was quite the challenge.

Let’s start with the benefits of a cold shower in the morning. First and foremost, it wakes you up like nothing else. I mean, I was practically jolted out of bed and ready to tackle the day. It also boosts circulation and can even improve your mood. Plus, it’s supposed to have some great benefits for your skin and hair. So, I thought, why not give it a try?

Now, I have to admit, the first few seconds of a cold shower are absolute torture. It’s like being hit with a bucket of ice water. But after a minute or so, my body seemed to adjust, and I actually started to feel invigorated. I was like, “bring it on, world! I can handle anything!”

However, as much as I enjoyed the benefits of a cold morning shower, it did come with its challenges. I’ve always been a fan of lingering in the warm embrace of a hot shower. With a cold shower, there’s no lingering. You just want to get in and out as fast as possible, I…
